Who Makes a Great DSP?

If you are looking for a job that provides Passion, Challenge, Variety and making a difference, then you are made for this job!

01 Passion:

Are you tired of just clocking in and clocking out of job? Do you wish you could have a job that you could be passionate about? Imagine waking up and being excited to go to work! When you are a DSP, it becomes more than job, it becomes a passion.

02 Challenge

We have all had that feeling of accomplishment when we are working toward a goal and finally reach it. When you become a DSP, you are taking on a rewarding challenge that will help you grow as a person. When you help a person walk for the first time, or help them learn something new, you will be reminded why this job is so special.

03 Variety

This isn’t your old factory job, doing the same task over and over again for hours. Every single day will be completely different. One day you could be taking someone to the doctor, the next you could be going on a trip to the Smoky Mountains. If you love having new adventures every day, then becoming a DSP is definitely for you.

04 Making a Difference

Working 40 hours a week is a large commitment of the most valuable resource on the planet: time. If you are looking for a way to use your time to make a difference in a meaningful way, being a direct support professional is it. Not a moment is wasted working in direct support and sometimes simply showing up with a positive attitude and warm smile can make a HUGE difference in someone’s life.

When you retire someday, this job allows you to know that you did something that actually mattered in this life.
